Gordon died peacefully this week aged one hundred and a couple of months, having enjoyed his centenary birthday celebration organised around lockdown considerations.
The news item posted here on 6 June can now serve as the obituary to ‘a life lived to the full’.
Condolences to daughter Pam Pass and other family members.

People have been asking when Gordon Boot’s funeral takes place. Unfortunately, due to Covid, attendance is by invite only but for those who want to remember him it is at 12.30 on Tuesday 1st September. Donations to St Luke’s. John Andrews will be attending the funeral on behalf of Gordan's involvement in tennis.
